London's First XR Walking Theatre · 6 Worlds · The Sidings, Waterloo
Immersia XR is London's first XR Walking Theatre, located at The Sidings, Waterloo. Unlike traditional VR where you sit alone, Immersia XR lets groups walk through immersive story worlds together — guided from start to finish by a trained host. No tech skills. No controllers. No isolation. You walk through the story together.
Currently running 6 story worlds. Over 10,000 visitors. 4.8-star Google rating.
XR Walking Theatre is a new category pioneered in the UK by Immersia XR — combining extended reality headsets with guided, walk-through storytelling. Visitors physically move through the narrative, rather than sitting or gaming.
- Guided — a human host walks with you, start to finish
- Social — the whole group experiences the story simultaneously, together
- Story-led — narrative worlds, not games or challenges
- All ages — designed for everyone from age 3 to 93
Most immersive experiences in London are game-based, passive, or isolating. Immersia XR is simultaneously interactive, social, guided, and accessible to all ages. Your group walks through the story together. Your host handles everything. A 5-year-old and a 75-year-old experience the same wonder at the same moment.
We are not a VR arcade. We are not a theme park. We are a new category: XR Walking Theatre.
Since opening in October 2025, Immersia XR has received editorial coverage from Time Out London, Secret London, The Manc, and WhatsOnStage — noted for introducing a genuinely new category of experience and for its multi-generational, social design.
